Good artists are marked by individual songs that provided them success. Great artists are marked by their bodies of work. An album is a cohesive way to convey one or many ideas and emotions into a cohesive form that can be received as a whole. Although some may say that the cycle of releasing an album is a bit antiquated, planning to do a project at Studio 117 will provide many benefits that are unique to that experience.

First and foremost, a discount is provided for projects with 5 songs or more. Additionally, you are assigned a specific recording engineer who will help manage your project and see things through. Maintaining the level of consistency provided by working with a sole engineer will help to create a flow state in the recording, mixing, and mastering process. If you are doing a creative project — in which we are creating custom beats with you — your producer will also be your engineer. You will receive priority scheduling based on your own availability and the availability of your producer/engineer, meaning you don’t have to go online, pick a time, submit a down payment for the individual session, etc.

At the end of the day, doing a project with us doesn’t mean you have to release it as a project — we don’t control how you release your music. You may simply sign up for a 10 song project, and release them over the next year as 10 singles. That is entirely up to you.
